    Maintenance Electrician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician who will be responsible for conducting planned maintenance activities, installing, maintaining, and operating all plant electrical systems. The role involves troubleshooting and programming PLCs, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of production. A background in food manufacturing is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical systems, including switch gear, high/low voltage, drives, parts, and lighting.

    + Set up all electronic equipment for scheduled production runs.

    + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all electronic equipment such as wiring, scales, and metal detectors.

    + Troubleshoot and program PLCs and encoder systems, including wiring.

    + Conduct daily and weekly electrical preventive maintenance.

    + Fabricate custom electronic parts as needed.

    + Implement safety devices on production lines.

    + Complete required reports in English, including PM, Work Orders, and Centerline.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting to diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.

    + Preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is properly functioning.

    + Wiring and running conduit for special projects or installations.

    + Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum 1 year of electrical/electronic or related experience required.

    + PLC certification preferred.

    + Knowledge of plant safety, GMPs, and confined spaces.

    + Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics/prints.

    + Capability to complete work and purchase requests.

    + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40.17 - $40.17/hr.
