    Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented warehouse shipping and receiving clerk. The role involves managing the shipping and receiving of military products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.

    + Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP Systems effectively.

    + Perform accurate visual checks on products before shipping.

    + Document and report any discrepancies or damages.

    + Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements.

    + Generate shipping labels and documentation using internal systems.

    + Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.

    + Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.

    + Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of warehouse experience.

    + Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management software.

    + Proficiency in Oracle, Salesforce, and Email.

    + Experience reading work orders.

    + Ability to operate equipment after permanent placement.

    + Preferred hazmat certification or experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with inventory management and RF scanners.

    + Familiarity with SAP and data entry.

    + Microsoft Office proficiency.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is based in a non-climate controlled facility, working alongside various warehouse workers in a large space. The shift is from 8am to 4:30pm, with flexibility to start an hour earlier or later during busy seasons. A dress code of closed-toe shoes is required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
