Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is based in Overland Park, Kansas, and involves managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bookkeeping practices and be proficient in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and efficient manner.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize QuickBooks software to manage and track financial data effectively.

• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for audits or reviews.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.

• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate records of expenditures.

• Identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies in financial data. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a setting that requires attention to detail.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Solid communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
