SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
Reporting to the Team Leader the incumbent is responsible for providing closing and loan servicing functions for the Commercial Loan Servicing Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ The Business Banking Administrator I provides support in Commercial Loan Servicing to Business Banking Loan Officers, and our Small Business Loan Center (SBLC) by performing a wide variety of duties to assist in the new loan boarding, closing and settlement process, continued servicing, renewal, documentation, etc.
+ Provides superior service experience to internal and external customers, taking ownership of inquiries and requests, and following through to ensure timely response and accurate resolution.
+ Work closely with Business Banking Officers and Small Business Loan Center to facilitate the workflow of pending loans and ensure the proper booking of small business loans.
+ Provide support to the branches with business account types and small business products and services.
+ Prepare small business loan payoffs and filing of satisfaction pieces to ensure proper release of recorded mortgages.
+ Performs New Loan boarding data entry to the core system or via Abrigo and additional data entry if needed, after a thorough review of all new loan documents;
+ Identifying, monitoring, and tracking of missing documentation and/or documentation that needs correction.
+ Processing payments, advances, participation transactions, construction payments and advances following the Bank’s policies and procedures including but not limited to Restricted Servicing Transaction policy.
+ Maintains accurate records of all payments, advances and file maintenance transactions following the Bank’s policies and procedures including but not limited to the Bank’s Record Retention policy.
+ Cross trains with C&I, CRE, and Resort Finance Servicing, Escrow & Insurance, Quality Control, and other Commercial Loan Servicing Functions.
+ Performs the scan/index function for new or existing loans, if applicable.
+ Performs administrative tasks including file maintenance, payoff letters, releases, billing, filing, general ledger and deposit account reconciliations.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
• Provides backup teller support when necessary.
• Assists with the records retention and shipping of closed loans and documents when necessary.
• Assists with any other special project assigned in order to complete by established deadlines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Minimum 2 years of prior loan servicing and/or equivalent professional experience preferred.
+ Communicates effectively and professionally with customers, coworkers, and vendors; vendors include closing attorneys, appraisers, environmental companies, and others.
+ Ability to quickly and accurately identify and file various types of loan documents (loan approvals, note, guarantee, loan agreement, OFAC, etc.).
+ Strong organizational and administrative skills; proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Abrigo, Outlook, and Tableau Dashboards).
+ Proven ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, work independently and exercise independent judgment when appropriate, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Strong working knowledge of Insight or proven ability to learn complex transactional systems.
