+ This position will specifically support the Population Health team.
Serve as a strategic data partner for Population Health leadership by transforming complex business questions into actionable analytics and intuitive visualizations. Assist in developing key performance indicators and applicable benchmarks, establish data collection processes and tools, and integrate data from multiple sources. Support with the formatting and transfer of data from external sources to be utilized in native internal environments. Collaborate with clinicians, program leaders and performance improvement analysts to design new performance dashboards in Epic and other data visualization software . Lead production of real-time, monthly and quarterly dashboards to enable transparency and to monitor system-wide performance of program progress, clinical quality, and cost of care. Maintain a deep working knowledge of SQL for querying and joining large healthcare datasets, and develop dynamic data visualizations. Collaborate cross-functionally with other technical groups to troubleshoot, adapt, and support evolving data processes—including, when needed, assisting with file integrations and backend job loads in Epic. Core Responsibilities:
+ Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into structured data requests and analytics deliverables
+ Write complex SQL queries across multiple schemas and databases to extract and analyze data
+ Develop clear, insightful dashboards to communicate trends and outcomes
+ Serve as a liaison between clinical leadership and technical teams to ensure accurate, relevant data delivery
+ Troubleshoot issues and quickly pick up new systems and processes as needs evolve
+ Contribute to system-wide efforts in tracking cost of care, clinical quality, and population health program outcomes
Education and Experience
+ A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with analytically challenging projects, preferably in healthcare.
+ Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following: quantitative analysis, financial analysis, information systems, population health analytics, clinical informatics, or clinical quality analytics.
+ Strong SQL expertise, including data wrangling and query optimization
+ Experience with analytic and visualization platforms such as Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft BI
+ Certification in Epic Clarity Caboodle or Cogito is preferred
+ , and will be required to be completed within the first 6 months
+ Experience working with EMR data, or Health Insurance Claims data is preferred
+ High level of stewardship over work and data.
+ Strong critical thinking and communication skills with a consultative mindset
