The Opportunity:

* Perform visual inspection of cartons for printing, die-cutting and gluing defects while feeding and packing cartons

* Report any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food packaging safety and quality

* Participate in line clearance procedures after each item is completed

* Accurately count, label, and inventory products they produce and materials coming to their work area

* Perform quality checks on the product they produce and materials coming to their machine

* Assist operators and assistants as needed

* Assist with make-readies

* Verify case count

* Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

* Each person, regardless of role or position, is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality and GMP

* Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner

* Work in other areas as needed, including sorting, and Flat Packing

* Keep area in specs within all 5S requirements

* Work in a fast-paced environment. Complete tasks in a timely manner

* Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions

* Participate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, and training

* Perform other related tasks as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

* Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtraction

* Willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods
