    JOB PURPOSE:

    To administer the programs and implement the policies and procedures approved by the Executive Leadership Team and Department of Community Health.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Organizes, administers and operates SOURCE, in the accordance with the laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of the SOURCE Program in the State of Georgia.

    2. Organizes and directs the agency’s ongoing functions.

    3. Establishes administrative procedures and maintains records to provide the Executive director, the Regional, and outside agencies with current information required for operational decisions.

    4. Develops and supervises the quality assurance program of the agency.

    5. Monitors the trainers who train new employees hired. Monitors the training assigned by the Regional Director/Executive Director.

    7. Implements employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.

    8. Keeps supervisor informed of daily activities, and issues. Proposes solutions to all issues.

    9. Follows all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations and charged with reporting violations to the appropriate supervisor.

    10. Carries out all duties with a ‘Committed to Caring” and in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and philosophy.

    11. Maintains confidentiality of company information.

    12. Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times.

    13. Able to respond to change productively and handle additional projects as assigned.

    14. Manages the site to be financially sound

    15. Meets all established business drivers

    16. Maintains partner files and evaluations per HR Policies and Procedures

    LECENSURE/CERTIFICATION/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in a health care field, human services administrative area, or has served as a SOURCE Care Manager under a state approved source program or has equivalent administrative work experience in a health care facility. Certified in Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

     

    Must have a commitment to and understanding of the Source Program.

     

    Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

     

    Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a heath care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    As a minimum, two- (2) year(s) of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care Nursing Center.

     

    Should possess a working knowledge of long-term care operational standards set forth in the Federal Register, Requirements of Participation
