• SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect

    ManTech (Tampa, FL)


    **MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect** to join our team. This is a **remote** role that may require occasional travel to Tampa, FL.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Design, architect, and build the required structure to store and maintain financial and budgetary data.

    + Provide technical database design, administration, and maintenance functions necessary for the development of databases that will contain all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data utilized by the enterprise.

    + Migrate data from Oracle data warehouse to a SQL Server based data warehouse. The required solution utilizes physical servers operating Windows 2022 operating system and SQL server, and virtual machines operating on Windows 2022 server operating system.

    + Configure and build the databases and data warehouses in Microsoft SQL Server. Data currently residing in an Oracle 12c relational database must be migrated to SQL Server.

    + Create Data Migration Plan and execute the plan to migrate budget data from 2017 to current, from Oracle into the SQL Server data warehouse

    + Provide support to other team members responsible for creating business intelligence dashboards and reports.

    + Data analysis, problem solving, investigation and creative thinking with large amounts of data supporting a variety of scenarios and work closely with the client to assist in managing data needs and supporting collection of data needed for various operational needs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline, or 8 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.

    + Proven experience developing and maintaining data models and data dictionaries

    + Proven experience working with and implementing data quality checks to identify errors and address outdated business rules

    + Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server

    + Proven data warehouse and ETL experience, including data warehouse design

    + Proven experience with SQL Server Migration Assistant for Oracle (SSMA) or similar tool

    + Data migration experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

    + CompTIA Security+ certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Oracle database experience

    + Experience with TIBCO EBX master data management

    + Experience converting OBIEE reports to Power BI.

    + Experience implementing Federal financial management systems such as OneStream (highly preferred), Hyperion, or other Corporate Performance Management platforms

    + Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.

    + Advanced certifications, such as those related to SQL Server, data warehouses, business intelligence, and Agile methodologies

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have a current/active Top Secret security clearance and may be required to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

    + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
