    Job Description

    Be part of a team that values your development, offers resources, and enables meaningful contributions. This position supports the Fill/Finish department.

    Responsibilities

    + Work within a manufacturing environment both individually and within a team to ensure customers receive products that exceed quality specifications.

    + Work in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to area-specific PPE requirements.

    + Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment.

    + Assemble kit components.

    + Safely operate pallet jacks.

    + Handle materials that are in temperature-sensitive conditions following established guidelines and protocols.

    + Perform cleaning of production areas and equipment.

    + Communicate with several work groups to ensure the completion of daily production.

    + Successfully complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements on time and operate within all ISO, GMP, and FDA standards pertaining to Frederick Site Manufacturing Operations.

    + May need to act as a work-order lead.

    + May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

    Skills and Abilities

    + Ability to consistently and autonomously adhere to policies and procedures, guidelines, and meet production timelines.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

    + Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

    + Knowledge of the metric system, and ability to perform conversions.

     

    Education and Experience

    Required:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing cleanroom or warehouse environment

    Preferred:

    + Associate’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field

    + Experience in GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments

    + Experience operating automated equipment

    The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $16.78–$27.96.
