We’re looking for a Manager of Inventory Solutions responsible for leading the integration of vendor relationships and customer onboarding process for new and existing customers, designing appropriate solutions to meet their needs. This role works in partnership with the field sales management team to effectively develop and allocate best-in-class programs that maximize customer satisfaction while enabling productivity and growth.
Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend three days working in the office and two days working remotely. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package.
Responsibilities:
+ Develops overall infrastructure vision and systems architecture (e.g., private / public / hybrid cloud, vendors / partners).
+ Develops customers solutions and leads the implementation process for new and existing customers. Develops pricing structure to ensure customer and solution profitability.
+ Visits customer sites to make recommendations on customer solutions and design product layouts to meet customer needs.
+ Manages integration vendor relationships and serves as the key contact for decision makers.
+ Creates and accomplishes resource/service allocation plans for customer solutions based upon short and long-term sales goals, with responsibility for sales growth and profitability.
+ Monitors activity of the team as measured against established key performance indicators, supporting the team to ensure goals are met. Develops and implements reporting metrics as needed for monitoring performance.
+ Monitors growth and expansion of potential new locations and supports bids as necessary.
+ Ensures customers are consistently satisfied with the organization's products and services. Assists in customer needs evaluation and solution creation, resolving any escalated customer issues in cooperation with the field sales team and the appropriate internal departments.
+ Strengthens our relationships with key customers, reviewing customer survey information to ensure quality and service standards are met.
+ Supports plant tours, presentations, and any customer engagement that may be necessary for success.
+ Establishes and maintains a uniform process for the implementations and ongoing support of developed solutions, with a focus on profitability.
+ Ensures all individuals involved with solutions are properly trained on established processes and procedures to meet customer needs.
+ Collaborates with field sales management to support scheduled and ad hoc needs on behalf of customers.
+ Supports corporate initiatives, ensuring the team remains on pace and helping to carry out the initiatives in the market.
+ Ensures successful onboarding and training of new team members to support function.
Qualifications & Requirements:
+ High School Diploma plus at least 7 years of management experience with at least 5 years of inventory management or in-field service background, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with designing, building, and operating solutions using public cloud technologies (AWS experience desirable)
+ Business strategist with proven ability to lead profitable sales organizations
+ Strong motivator, leader, and problem solver with the ability to coach and train
+ Ability to develop, analyze, and manage growth
+ Knowledge of products, pricing, Lawson programs, strategic accounts, and market competitors
+ Good communication skills, both written and oral, including presentation skills
+ Knowledge of hiring, interviewing, and onboarding procedures
+ Good computer skills
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
Our salary range for this role is $106,800 - $128,160 including a full benefits package.
