• Customer Service Representative

    Waste Connections (Shreveport, LA)


    We are looking for a **Customer Service Representative** to join the team at our Hauling site in **Shreveport, LA.**

     

    + The schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

    + Pay Range: $18-19/hr., weekly pay.

    + Benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, vacation, and year-round work.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Work closely with other departments to resolve customer disputes & demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.

    + Assist customers by phone and in person to receive orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in service.

    + Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records and issues discontinuance orders.

    + Answer incoming calls and assist with billing related questions or account support

    + Manage collections through phone calls, email campaigns

    REQUIREMENTS:

    + 2- years of Customer Service experience in a high call volume atmosphere

    + Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Email _preferred_ . Typing and 10-key skills are required

    + Excellent organization and communication skills

    + Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
