    Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level System Design and Integration Specialist to support the Information Technology team in Hazelwood, Missouri! This role will support the Aerospace Composite Center (ACC). The Aerospace Composite Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs.

     

    We are seeking a skilled specialist to join our team supporting the Operational Technology (OT) ecosystem within the ACC domain. This role is a critical enabler for exciting work related to the production of several of Boeing's critical defense products.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Assist with the integration of industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, DCS) with manufacturing equipment and IT systems.

    + Support the implementation of data exchange between OT and IT platforms (e.g., MES, ERP).

    + Provide off-hours support for technical support for OT systems, diagnosing and resolving integration and connectivity issues.

    + Learn and become proficient in the Operational Technology tool suited to assist users and perform administrative tasks effectively

    + Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting steps.

    + Support complex applications and troubleshoot issues to maintain system stability and performance

    + Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, external organizations, and suppliers to coordinate support and upgrades

    + Participate in the upgrade and transformation of infrastructure and applications within the production facility, including planning, execution, and validation activities

    + Help maintain, support, and ensure reliability, security, and performance

    + Follow established OT cybersecurity protocols and assist in implementing security controls.

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options..

     

    This position is for 1st shift.

     

    **This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

    + 1+ years of experience deploying, sustaining, and integrating Operational Technology (OT) systems with IT systems

    + 1+ year of experience with automation and control system design and integration in a manufacturing environment.

    + Solid understanding of industrial control systems

    + Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and best practices

    + Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, late evenings

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Professional certifications such as CAP, CCNA or CISSP

    + 3+ years of hands-on experience in OT systems integration, automation, and industrial controls within a manufacturing environment.

    + 3+ years of experience implementing security controls and incident response in OT environments.

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense..

    Travel:

    Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

    Summary pay range: $102.000 - $138,000
