Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating sit-down forklifts and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Operate sit-down forklifts with the clamp attachment to relocate tires within the warehouse.

+ Lift and handle two racks of tires, ensuring safe and efficient transport.

+ Work primarily on a forklift, spending 95-100% of the day operating the machinery.

+ Transport tires from production areas to designated locations in the warehouse.

+ Ensure safe driving practices are followed at all times in a busy environment.

+ Contribute to meeting production quotas and handle occasional lifting as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months sit-down forklift experience.

+ 6 months of previous production experience.

+ 6 months of shipping and/or warehouse experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.

+ Previous shipping experience is desirable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
