Job Summary:
The Project Executive will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating civil construction projects from initiation through completion. This role requires a proactive individual with strong project management skills, technical knowledge of civil engineering, and the ability to liaise between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects within budget.
Job Description:
+ Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of civil construction projects.
+ Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow.
+ Monitor project progress and performance to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
+ Manage procurement of materials and services, ensuring timely availability and cost efficiency.
+ Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
+ Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, reports, progress updates, and budgets.
+ Support cost control and risk management efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address issues and provide updates.
+ Assist in resolving on-site issues and conflicts proactively.
+ Ensure compliance with all legal and environmental regulations relevant to civil construction.
+ Support post-project evaluations and documentation to identify lessons learned and improve future projects.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
+ 20+ years of senior experience in civil construction project coordination or management.
+ PE license preferred
+ Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in civil construction.
+ Experience with budgeting and cost control.
+ Familiarity with contract management.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
+ Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
