Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. You will perform MIG welds on 18 gauge to 1/2 inch mild steel, fabricating and welding parts and assemblies for pavement maintenance equipment, safety railings, and other pavement machine components. The majority of work involves Butt & fill welds, along with grinding and finishing as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel, fabricating and assembling parts for pavement maintenance equipment.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure precise welds.

+ Execute Butt & fill welds, including grinding and finishing parts as required.

+ Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience or a technical degree.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

+ High School Diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ MIG welding experience on mild steel is preferred.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a large warehouse with a clean and organized setting. We fabricate and assemble our own equipment for the industrial roofing industry, primarily using mild steel along with outsourced parts like motors, pneumatics, and electronics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
