Position Overview
Leidos is seeking a **Systems Engineer** to join our team supporting the **ACCA5JI JINTACCS mission** at the **Langley AFB** customer site. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in support of the U.S. Air Force’s Tactical Data Link (TDL) Configuration and Logistics (C&L) process and tool. The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing the planning, operation, and performance of tactical systems and data links for TDL operators, planners, and users.
P** **rimary Responsibilities
+ **TDL Systems Analysis:** **Analyze:** TDL system test reports and implementation databases to understand how warfighters exchange information across TDLs. Focus on delivering validated C&L data and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for Air Force TDL systems.
+ **C&L Data Management:** Review and update Capabilities & Limitations (C&L) documentation to reflect core TDL attributes. Present information in a clear, operationally relevant format tailored to USAF combat operators.
+ **Stakeholder Coordination:** Distribute newly developed C&L materials to relevant weapon system technical communities for validation. Coordinate with Program Offices or designated Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance.
+ **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** Ensure all C&L content adheres to established business rules, including proper security classification, spelling, and formatting standards.
+ **Interoperability Reporting:** Research, draft, and coordinate interoperability reports for platforms included in the C&L Operator Research Tool.
+ **Documentation Support:** Develop Background Papers, staff studies, Talking Papers, and presentation materials as directed by government stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, or information technology, and 2 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
+ **TDL Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in TDL analysis or operations using relevant military standards (e.g., MIL-STD 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, 2045-47001).
+ **Web Content Management:** At least 1 year of experience in web content development and management.
+ **Security Clearance:** Tier 1 (T1) investigation completed; Tier 3 / Secret clearance preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
