Quality Assurance Manager

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a **QA Technical Manager** for a **contract-to-hire** position at a cutting-edge client in **San Fernando, CA** . Pay: $90,000–$100,000

**Schedule:** Full-time, onsite

Overview

This client is an industry-leading company that’s driving innovation in food manufacturing and flavor development. As a QA Technical Manager, you will lead quality assurance initiatives, support compliance efforts, and drive continuous improvement across QA systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as the primary QA information resource for internal and external clients.

+ Support the creation, execution, and maintenance of QA procedures.

+ Provide timely QA guidance and solutions to internal and external clients.

+ Investigate product quality and food-safety related inquiries.

+ Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

+ Lead initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

+ Ensure QA practices comply with regulatory, GFSI, and customer requirements.

+ Provide QA support for external audits and inspections.

+ Oversee maintenance of approved specifications.

+ Lead and mentor assigned QA staff.

+ Create detailed reports and lead QA discussions.

+ Provide training to personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field.

+ Minimum of 3 years of management experience.

+ Minimum of 5 years QA experience in food manufacturing.

+ HACCP certification.

+ PCQI certification.

+ Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.

+ Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

+ Must be able to report to any company facility as needed, sometimes with same-day notice.
