    Amalgamated Bank is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to manage the recruitment strategy and onboarding process across the Bank. Assist in developing, maintaining, and administering Human Resources objectives related to the Bank’s talent strategy, external brand and engagement of internal and external talent. In addition, the role will partner with the hiring managers, HR Business Partners and the executive team to evaluate hiring needs and future talent capabilities.

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Lead the bank’s overall recruitment efforts ensuring the recruitment of top caliber talent to make sure all staffing needs are met.

    + Partner with department managers and HRBPs to discuss staffing needs and devise multi-faceted recruitment strategies. Identify innovative, low cost effective recruitment options.

    + Ensure all staffing requests are properly presented to and approved by CHRO and Finance

    + Prepare recruitment ads, contact targeted sources, and attend career fairs.

    + Ensure team is maintaining the necessary files covering applications, interviews and testing procedures.

    + Monitor background investigation process, serving as the Bank’s primary liaison with the vendor (currently Accurate).

    + Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations relating to hiring and onboarding candidates.

    + Responsible for any training and development related to interview and hiring process.

    + Evaluate current recruiting procedures to determine whether they can be modified for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

    + Responsible for creating the talent pipeline that allows the bank to achieve its goals and objectives.

    + Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other required applications

    + Oversee the development and revisions to job descriptions, ensuring FLSA compliance.

    + Stay current with industry trends, developments and changes

    + Manage the Employee Referral Program.

    + Manage the Bank’s relationships with outside staffing agencies, including contract negotiations.

    + Support the bank’s succession planning process.

    + Support the bank’s talent management goals.

    + Perform other duties as directed.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    + Five or more (5+) years of related experience in Human Resources field

    + Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

    + Detail oriented, problem solving and solid analytical skills

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all department heads and employees

    + Strong management skills

     

    Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $85,500.00 – $100,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

    Hybrid Work Model

    Effective February 18, 2025, employees in office-based positions will be working a Hybrid work schedule consisting of three days or more, on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, the contact center, branch service roles, and general services where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Please note, this Hybrid work model guidance does not apply to roles that have been designated as “remote”.
