        Adjunct Faculty/Radiologic Technology

             The incumbent will: + Conduct orientation of new students to the affiliate site; + Supervise students at affiliate site, including verification of attendance records and case logs; + Maintain a schedule of student assignments at affiliate site; + Evaluate students on radiographic procedures and document levels of competency; + Provide image critique sessions (select exams performed by students); + Monitor student progress and regularly meet with students for conferencing/evaluation; + Participate in department meetings; + Compile data and prepare periodic reports, as required; + Arrange and conduct supplementary instructional activities, including regular image critique sessions; + Participate in in-service training and other departmental meetings, including accreditation activities; + Perform related administrative and clerical tasks when appropriate; + All other duties, as assigned. Job Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess the following: + A Bachelor of Science degree; + A current credential in Radiologic Technology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; + A current license by the New York State Department of Health in Radiologic Technology. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of practical experience strongly preferred. Additional Information: HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $93.84 per hour. No benefits. POSITION EFFECTIVE: Spring 2022
