    Job Title: Project Manager

    Job Description

    The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and programs. This role oversees all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of projects. Reports are generated for upper management regarding the status of these projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the execution of conversion and launch programs to mitigate high-risk schedule deadlines.

    + Manage a portfolio of projects, down to individual project levels.

    + Participate in various stage gates of the project involving 25 sites.

    + Identify risk profiles on projects and implement solutions for future projects.

    + Set deadlines for project timelines and delegate responsibilities effectively.

    + Hold vendors accountable and ensure they are notified throughout the process.

    + Organize scope of handoffs, track order statuses and logistics, and manage change requests.

    + Ensure successful project completion with no set performance metric.

    Essential Skills

    + 5-7 years of experience in project management and coordination.

    + Experience in project management, project engineering, and risk management.

    + Experience in setting up deadlines for project timelines and delegating responsibilities.

    + Bachelor's degree in a technical or non-technical field is required.

    + Experience with material handling or industrial engineering.

    + Must have former experience with the client, either as a vendor, consultant, or full-time employee.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 3-5 years of experience within engineering.

    + Experience in managing large-scale projects within construction or manufacturing launches.

    + Quick learner with the ability to identify gaps in standards.

    + Ability to earn trust and insist on the highest standards.

    Work Environment

    This role involves 10-20% travel and is primarily remote or office-based. Heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and communication are key components. The role involves managing multiple vendors, ensuring seamless handoffs, and understanding vendor responsibilities. Future projects may require experience in data or industrial engineering to ensure consistent flows and operations design capacity.

    This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
