Join our Site Engineering team where you will independently engineer and design site development projects in collaboration with Professional Engineers and CAD Designers.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct site feasibility studies and environmental analysis.
+ Develop schematic designs and coordinate engineering systems.
+ Perform site cost analysis and design development.
+ Prepare site construction documents and conduct specification and materials research.
+ Check and coordinate documents for accuracy.
+ Engage in bidding and contract negotiations.
+ Perform office work and site observation during the construction phase.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
+ 2+ years of experience in Site Engineering, Land Development Engineering, or Site Design.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with permitting, zoning requirements, drainage design, site plan development, utility design, and grading.
+ Ability to work independently on site development projects.
+ Open to candidates with 2 to 20+ years of civil site engineering experience.
Work Environment
The position offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Thursday (9 hours) and Friday (4 hours), totaling 40 hours per week, with occasional work beyond standard hours when needed. Start times are flexible between 7-9 AM, with end times between 4-6 PM. The office environment is new and well-equipped, featuring walking trails, a gym, and opportunities for team-building activities. While this is not a remote or hybrid role, there is the option to work from home when necessary. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edgewood, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
