Job Title: CNC Saw Operator
Job Description
The CNC Saw Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC saws to cut materials such as metal, wood, or plastic according to specifications, blueprints, and/or work orders. The operator ensures efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine material requirements and cutting sequences.
+ Select, load, and secure appropriate materials onto the saw bed.
+ Set up and adjust cutting tools, guides, stops, and other saw components.
+ Load and execute CNC programs; make necessary adjustments to machine controls such as speed, feed rate, and depth of cut to ensure proper material cutting.
+ Operate the CNC saw, monitoring its performance and output.
+ Inspect finished materials for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
+ Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor corrections to offset dimensional errors.
+ Document inspection results and maintain detailed production logs.
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance on the saw, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs.
+ Identify and report machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
+ Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years experience operating CNC equipment
+ Basic understanding of G&M code
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading
+ Experience with CNC setup, changeovers, and machining
+ Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with CNC programming and G&M codes
+ Knowledge of machine operation, tooling, and assembly

Work Environment
Work the first shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to adjust start time to 6:00 am to 4:30 pm if needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
