    Job Description

    As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production line. You will be responsible for sorting and stacking products according to company guidelines, performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications, operating and maintaining machinery, and assisting in packaging and labeling finished products. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of assembled products and report any discrepancies.

    Responsibilities

    + Sort and stack products according to company guidelines.

    + Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet required specifications.

    + Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the production process.

    + Assist in the packaging and labeling of finished products.

    + Keep a detailed record of products assembled and report any discrepancies.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, packing, and inspecting materials.

    + Ability to stack and palletize products.

    + Comfortable standing all day and lifting 25-35 pounds repetitively.

    + Experience in packaging and general production tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift operation experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a clean room manufacturing environment, where the team is eager for new support due to being overworked. The work environment, though currently stressed, is supportive and appreciative of new team members. Safety attire such as steel-toed shoes, t-shirts, long pants, and hair or beard nets is required. The position offers a choice of shifts: 1st shift runs Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm, and 2nd shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am, with initial training on a daytime schedule.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeville, South Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
