Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team. As a member of a family-owned capital equipment manufacturing company, you will be an integral part of a team that produces large assembly lines for major companies. You will work in a collaborative environment where pride in workmanship is paramount.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum.

+ Interpret and utilize blueprints effectively.

+ Cut, punch, and grind steel materials.

+ Operate vertical milling machines and CNC lathes (training provided)

+ Conduct surface grinding operations.

+ Train and mentor less experienced operators.

+ Demonstrate leadership skills and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding with stainless steel and aluminum.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, 1018, and 1045 steel.

+ Strong leadership skills with a no-nonsense attitude towards work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in training operators is a plus

+ Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Work Environment

Located in Fredricktown, OH, our facility is custom-designed for manufacturing large capital equipment. The clean and organized shop environment includes departments for machining, assembly, weld/fabrication, paint, and engineering/design. The position is a 1st shift role with hours from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, with voluntary overtime on Sundays. The work requires adherence to OSHA standards, including the use of PPE. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREDERICKTOWN, Ohio. This is a long term position!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $27.00/hr.
