    Description

    The Document Manager will oversee the organization, storage, and security of company documents in both digital and physical formats, while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company-related policies. As a Document Manager, you will play an essential role in managing information flows within the organization effectively and confidentially.

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and execute effective strategies for document organization, retention, and security.

    + Manage digital databases and ensure adherence to version control protocols.

    + Collaborate with internal departments to standardize document templates and filing procedures.

    + Maintain up-to-date documentation storage and retrieval systems, facilitating easy access for approved personnel.

    + Monitor and implement privacy, confidentiality, and data integrity policies in document management processes, adhering to company and legal requirements.

    + Assist in aiding audits and legal discoveries by providing the necessary records.

    + Lead and educate employees on proper document usage, storage, and maintenance best practices.

    + Identify technological improvements to enhance document management systems.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, library sciences, information management, or related field.

    + Proven experience (e.g., 3+ years) in document or record management roles.

    + Proficiency in document storage software, such as SharePoint, Documentum, or other applicable systems.

    + Familiarity with data governance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI Compliance) is strongly preferred.

    + Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    + Meticulous attention to detail and high-level problem-solving capabilities.

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
