Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our first-shift maintenance team. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing automated equipment, as well as electrical and mechanical systems. The workday is diverse, with approximately 50% dedicated to preventative maintenance, 30% to high-level diagnostics and repairs, and 20% to various project-based tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot automated equipment.

+ Diagnose and repair electrical subsystems including PLCs, 480V systems, and electrical schematics.

+ Maintain and repair 3-phase motors, pneumatics, conveyors, and facility tools.

+ Execute light facilities tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

+ Experience with pneumatics and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

+ PLC troubleshooting experience is required.

+ A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical degree is preferred.

+ Welding experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 5 AM to 3 PM on Friday. You will collaborate with a team of 6 other technicians.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hugo, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
