_Forklift Operator_

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated general production worker with open availability between 7 AM and 7 PM. The typical shift is from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed. The role requires long days and consistent attendance during the entire time span. We are looking for someone who is interested in a position that could lead to a long-term or permanent role. Attendance and punctuality are critical, as we have a strict attendance policy.

Responsibilities

+ Operate an order picker (cherry picker), reach truck, and sit-down forklift.

+ Handle inventory, material handling, and order picking.

+ Perform tasks such as loading, unloading, packing, and palletizing.

+ Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

+ Engage in shipping and receiving operations.

+ Conduct cycle counts and ensure accurate stock levels.

+ Label and package products efficiently.

+ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

+ Solid experience with order picker, reach truck, and sit-down forklift operation.

+ Proficiency in inventory control and shipping and receiving processes.

+ Ability to handle heavy lifting and general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in warehouse operations and distribution.

+ Knowledge of RF scanners and pallet jack operation.

Work Environment

The position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. Employees must wear steel-toed boots for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
