    Job Title: Packer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Packer at our Elk Grove Village facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are prepared and packaged efficiently. This position involves rotating through three different tasks each day, working collaboratively with your team. The tasks include preparing boxes, loading ink cartridges, and labeling and sealing boxes before placing them on pallets. Successful candidates will be able to stand for 8 hours and keep pace with a fast-moving production line.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare boxes for packing.

    + Load ink cartridges into boxes for shipment.

    + Label and seal boxes and stack them onto pallets.

    + Maintain the production line's pace.

    + Consistently lift up to 50 lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to work at a fast pace.

    + Capacity to lift 50 lbs consistently.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in an ink or chemical environment is beneficial.

    + Experience with batch mixing, loading, assembly, inventory, RF scanner, skid, packaging, and pallet jack is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with approximately 60 employees, including packers, forklift drivers, mixers, and office staff. The working hours for this position are from 11pm-7am Sun-Thurs

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village Illinois .

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
