Job Title: Janitor

Job Description

Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities on the WKU Campus.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain cleanliness of academic buildings and dormitories.

+ Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

+ Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.

+ Dispose of waste materials in accordance with campus policies.

+ Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to perform janitorial and cleaning duties effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No prior experience or education required.

Work Environment

This role has available shifts from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, in academic buildings, or from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, in academic buildings, or from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, in dormitories, or from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, in dormitories. The work involves custodial tasks across various campus facilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.72 - $13.72/hr.
