Job Title: Motor Assembly Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Motor Assembly Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling very small motors, weighing approximately 1 pound. This position involves repetitive tasks, so attention to detail is crucial. While J-Standard certification is a significant advantage, it is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools.
+ Follow manufacturing test procedures and suggest continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.
+ Perform electronic and/or mechanical assembly, reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
+ Operate machine tools, production tooling, and fixtures.
+ Place parts in specified relationships to each other for sub-assembly or final assembly using soldering, clips, screws, or fastening methods.
+ Rotate between different work stations as production needs require.
+ Assist in packing products into individual boxes and cases and placing them on skids.
+ Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials.
+ Verify that outside labels and unit labels match for all packet parts.
+ Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly.
+ Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
+ Proficiency in machine tool operations and the operation of production tooling and fixtures.
+ Capability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand throughout the shift, and perform bending, twisting, and reaching tasks.
+ Proficiency in English for reading, understanding, and speaking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Soldering skills are a plus.
+ J-Standard certification is a significant advantage.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
