Job Title: Materials Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Materials Associate to efficiently manage order fulfillment and delivery of supplies within a hospital environment. This role involves receiving freight, scanning inventory into the system, and accurately stocking hospital supplies in the stockroom.
Responsibilities
+ Receive freight at the stockroom and ensure accurate scanning and stocking of supplies.
+ Fulfill orders from various hospital wings/floors/divisions using handheld devices.
+ Utilize carts to pick orders, place items into totes, and deliver them to the corresponding areas.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with stock management, inventory control, and ERP systems.
+ Proficiency in using handheld scanners for picking, packing, loading, and labeling inventory.
+ Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a hospital or sterile environment is a significant advantage.
+ Previous experience in a non-union role is beneficial.
+ This position is suitable for entry-level candidates with stocking or warehousing experience.

Work Environment
This role is based inside a hospital in NW Portland, requiring no off-campus deliveries. The Materials Associate will wear hospital-provided scrubs and will receive training and shadowing from another materials associate. Interaction with patients, doctors, nurses, and stock room employees is an integral part of this position. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
