Job Title: DispatcherJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service to our customers from the initial phone call through to the completion of the service call. You will maintain good communication and build strong relationships with our technicians through understanding and empathy.
Responsibilities
+ Receive incoming service requests for plumbing services.
+ Create and manage work orders.
+ Schedule service calls efficiently.
+ Review after-hours calls and schedule them appropriately.
+ Respond to online inquiries promptly.
+ Monitor the info email for service and other requests, directing them to the appropriate person.
+ Dispatch technicians, ensuring the right technician is assigned to the right job.
+ Perform follow-up calls as needed.
+ Distribute after-action items to the appropriate person, such as warranty calls or invoicing tasks.
+ Review and schedule both commercial and residential maintenance, ensuring commitments to customers are fulfilled.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in dispatch for a service-based company, preferably in trades.
+ Excellent customer service and phone skills.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to multitask effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Positive communication skills with managers, coworkers, and customers.
+ Ability to maximize scheduling for customer satisfaction and company profitability.
+ Focus on the plumbing side of the business.
Work Environment
This position is on-site five days a week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The role requires consistent communication and collaboration with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bath, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
