    Job Title: Collection Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Collection Specialist to manage communications with customers regarding past due balances. This role involves reaching out to a large volume of customers through calls and emails, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with management to resolve outstanding issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Make calls and send emails to customers with past due balances.

    + Maintain detailed notes of conversations in the ERP system.

    + Communicate findings with management.

    + Send invoice copies to customers as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in collections and accounts receivable.

    + Proficiency in Excel.

    + Strong negotiation skills and prior experience in B2B collections.

    + Ability to have difficult conversations confidently.

    + Professionalism with a strong focus on customer expectations.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Basic skills in phone, computer, and email usage.

    Work Environment

    This position requires on-site work five days a week, from 8 AM to 4 PM. The role involves managing a portfolio of approximately 30 customers, ranging from small to medium-sized businesses, and handling a high volume of calls for resolution.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Halethorpe, Maryland.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
