    Job Title: Staff AccountantJob Description

     

    Provides Finance management with transactional and reconciliatory support while aiding in all other areas of the Finance Department.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide transactional support to the Finance Department.

    + Assist with general ledger management and reconciliations.

    + Perform month-end close processes and journal entries.

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements and balance sheets.

    + Support financial reporting and fixed asset management.

    + Utilize Excel for data manipulation and analysis.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in accounting.

    + Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including V-Lookup, IF, SUMIF, Index, Match, and Pivot Table.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Windows products and ERP platforms.

    + Strong understanding of project accounting, accruals, prepaids, and financial statements.

    + Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Construction industry experience is a plus.

    + Exceptional work ethic and organizational skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

    Work Environment

    This is an in-office position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role offers an opportunity to join a growing team within a dynamic construction company, providing room for professional growth.

    This is a Permanent position based out of East Hartford, Connecticut.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $99000.00/yr.

     

    Benefits will be provided once a decision is made and an offer is out.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Auburn,MA.
