Responsibilities:

+ Remediate PDF documents for accessibility standards including WCAG, PDF/UA, and Section 508, ensuring flawless execution.

+ Remediate Microsoft Word and PowerPoint details to meet strict accessibility standards.

+ Collaborate optimally with internal teams and partners to determine the best remediation strategies.

+ Clearly communicate remediation processes, progress, and results to team members and clients.

+ Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on finalized documents to ensure they meet high standards.

+ Document changes made during the remediation process to maintain transparency and accuracy.

+ Check every final document using assistive technologies such as JAWS and NVDA to confirm accessibility and usability for screen reader users.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 3-5 years of hands-on document remediation experience, showcasing your ability to successfully implement accessibility solutions.

+ Expertise with Adobe Acrobat Pro and the Microsoft Office Suite, proving your technical proficiency.

+ Experience with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA), to ensure you can verify document accessibility.

+ Knowledge of accessibility standards and protocols, reflecting your dedication to inclusion.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability to compete on a world-class level.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within our team.
