Our Wellness & Pain Management Clinic at Logan Health is looking for a caring, motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team!

We’re seeking a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant — and we’re also happy to train the right candidate with a CNA, EMT, PCA, or other relevant clinical background who is eager to learn and grow.

What You’ll Do

+ Prepare and assist patients for exams and treatments

+ Record patient histories and vital signs accurately

+ Assist providers during procedures and minor treatments

+ Collect and process lab specimens

+ Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies

+ Support clinical operations, including patient scheduling and documentation

+ Provide compassionate care and clear communication with patients and their families

Qualifications

+ Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or similar)

+ One (1) year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting

Or, we will train candidates with:

+ CNA, EMT, PCA, or other relevant clinical experience

+ A strong interest in healthcare and patient wellness

Additional Requirements:

+ Current Healthcare Provider CPR (or ability to obtain during orientation)

+ Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures (preferred)

+ Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
