JOB PURPOSE:
The Shipping and Warehouse Generalist Performs all standard warehouse and shipping duties including boxing and labeling all carwash entry systems and replacement parts to be shipped. Assist the Materials department on day-to-day bases as required. This may include receiving stock, stockroom activities such as stocking shelves and issuing parts for production or customer service. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits, to ensure warehouse and materials are as efficient and safe as possible.

• Operates focused on safety of self and those around
• Handling package, LTL and Full truck load deliveries (International and Domestic). Maintaining appropriate paperwork
• Identify and label parts for ease of identification
• Obtain counts of parts delivered, compare to packing slip and PO prior to receipt
• Accurately Receive product into DRB Computer system
• Use of a Warehouse Management System
• Use of scanning devices, printers and copiers
• Handling Packing Slips, Bill of Ladings, Purchase Orders
• Use carts and manual jacks to move product into location
• Perform Cycle counts and inventory practices
• Using Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
• Organized approach to work (Maintaining an organized work area and timely follow up on outstanding issues)
• Understanding of Warehouse Location Numbering system
• Attention to detail, double checks completed work
• Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Team player – Willing to ask for help when needed and provide help without being asked
• Accepts direction and feedback openly
• Self-motivated to stay busy with productive tasks through the day
• Attendance – On time and good attendance. Time off is planned, and exceptions are limited
• Ability to read, understand and offer improvement suggestions on training documentation
• Participate in company training, events and problem-solving initiatives as assigned
• Interest in learning other roles within the Warehouse to strengthen the overall team
• Notify Supervisor or Manager of any shipping or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Receives incoming freight, unloads merchandise from trucks by both hand and forklift. Packages units and replacement parts for shipping.
• Become proficient with existing and future shipping computer programs.
• Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and shipped.
• Interpret packing slips; enter correct information into shipping computer program, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
• Sorting and placing materials and items on racks, and shelves to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, and product code as applicable.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure that stock is stored safely and orderly.
• Perform accurate weighing and counting of all materials as directed.
• Assemble, pack and seal orders and supplies according to defined time schedules.
• Deliver orders to internal destinations.
• Maintain stock records according to established guidelines.
• Conduct weighing and counting of items for distribution.
• Ensure supply levels of materials and equipment are adequate, recommending re-order when necessary.
• Coordinate efforts with internal and external customers on any shipping and delivery of merchandise.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ High school diploma required.
+ A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Stockroom/warehouse environment is preferred.
+ Must be organized, detail oriented and team driven.
+ Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Aptitude for learning new software programs.
+ Strong verbal communication skills and detailed oriented.
+ Computer experience is a must.
+ Understanding of a ERP material control system a plus.
The base compensation range for this position is $23.00 to $25.00 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
For this specific role, you may be eligible for overtime in accordance with state laws. Overtime hours are not guaranteed.
