The Sales Analytics team drives user and revenue growth for Intuit’s Small Business Group by harnessing the power of sales analytics, customer insights, and sales channel optimization. We are a dynamic, growing, and collaborative team that works with industry-leading analytics tools, advanced techniques, and best practices to shape the future of sales strategy.
We are looking for a **Senior Data Scientist** to join our team and shape the future of our **Money Sales programs** —initiatives focused on expanding the customer base for invoicing, bill creation, payment scheduling, and lending solutions. In this role, you will apply advanced data analytics methodologies to optimize sales programs, accelerate growth, and enhance decision-making. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Sales Tech, Finance, Product Management, Data Engineering, and other analysts to deliver insights that matter.
Responsibilities
+ Identify opportunities to **optimize sales channels, elevate agent performance, and improve customer engagement** .
+ Design and execute **data-driven experiments** that uncover business opportunities and measure progress against company goals.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to **design and** **build automated analytics and reporting tools** that scale self-serve insights generation and strengthen experimentation frameworks.
+ Provide strategic recommendations by combining **multiple data sources, business knowledge, and thoughtful assumptions** —even when data is incomplete.
+ Proactively **discover and improve data sources** , and build pipelines or perform ETL when needed.
+ Develop and implement predictive models and advanced analytical solutions to improve sales performance and customer acquisition.
+ Communicate findings in a **clear, compelling way** that influences decision-making across the business.
+ Contribute to a culture of analytics excellence by **sharing best practices, mentoring teammates, and championing data-driven decision-making** .
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
+ **4+ years of advanced SQL experience** with data warehouses (Databricks, Redshift, SparkSQL, Athena), including segmentation and aggregation from scratch.
+ **Strong and proven experimentation skills** , with experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments at scale
+ Hands-on experience with **data visualization tools** such as Tableau or QlikSense.
+ Proven expertise in **data science or analytics** , ideally with a focus on sales analytics.
+ Familiarity with financial services companies (PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc.) is a plus.
+ Proficiency in **Python or R** (with libraries such as scikit-learn) for statistical modeling and machine learning is a plus
+ Excellent **communication and collaboration skills** , with the ability to translate complex technical insights for diverse audiences.
