We are hiring AI research interns to join our team of researchers to work on foundational AI problems that directly influence Intuit’s portfolio of fintech offerings to millions of consumers and small businesses. As a research intern at Intuit, you will work on cutting edge AI technologies, leading to innovative solutions that push the state of the art in AI while improving our customer experience. Current areas of exploration include robust and safe AI (including but not limited to generative AI), neuro-symbolic AI (knowledge representation and learning and constraint satisfaction), reinforcement learning, agents and multi-agents systems, post training and inference time scaling in language models, decision theory.
Responsibilities
As an AI Research intern at Intuit, you will join a high-caliber team of research scientists, domain experts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to research and apply the latest innovation in relevant topics to develop advanced capabilities that serve our customers’ needs, both current and future.
Qualifications
+ Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Statistics/Applied Mathematics or a related field.
+ Experience in one area of AI (e.g., natural language processing, large language modeling, generative AI, uncertainty quantification, reinforcement learning, algorithmic foundations of optimization, or similar areas).
+ Established track record of publication, ideally demonstrated through first author publications in top tier AI conferences ( e.g. NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, AAAI, EMNLP, ACL, AISTATS, KDD)
+ Experience with developing and debugging in Python with Tensorflow, Pytorch, or similar frameworks
+ Experience in dissemination of scientific work in English through paper submissions, and conference presentations.
Eligibility
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the duration of the internship
+ A graduation date at least 4 months after the end of the internship
+ Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
