    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a software engineer for backend and frontend development with a focus on Java or Groovy (Groovy is a plus but not required), particularly within Bamboo Rose’s unique file structure. Developers should have strong programming experience, ideally with exposure to JavaScript and C#, and be comfortable writing and optimizing SQL queries for performance, especially in PostgreSQL and Oracle environments. Understanding database relationships and writing efficient joins is key. Experience with query optimization is highly valued, though mentorship is available. Familiarity with token-based authentication in C# applications is important due to frequent API interactions, and knowledge of SSO is a nice-to-have for future initiatives. Additionally, contributing to the migration of legacy programs to React is a significant part of the role, with one program converted and 15 more to follow.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of coding experience in C#, ASP.NET and related languages

    • Experience with Visual Studio, Nuget packages and BitBucket.

    • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems

    • Working knowledge of database and storage such as Oracle, Postgres sql, etc

    • Optimizing SQL call performance.

    • Understanding of security concepts such as authentication, single-sign-on etc. ● Experience in groovy java rules utilizing Eclipse.

    • Experience in React.
