    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join one of our clients out of Dearborn, MI. This developer will be joining the e-commerce group supporting their auto management platform. This application is built on IBM Sterling and the team is responsible for building all customizations for the ecommerce platform. We are looking for a senior resource who can establish code practices, code reviews, lead hands on technical design, and communicate to stakeholders. This role requires being onsite 4 days a week in Dearborn, MI.

    Compensation:

    $55/hr to $60/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    • 7+ years of Back-End Java Spring Boot development

    • Microservices web-based applications

    • Experience leading/mentoring junior developers

    • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

    • Experience with PostgreSQL • Ecommerce experience

    • Auto management or auto fulfillment platform experience

    •Experience with IBM Sterling
