Job Description

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to support of our largest clients within the manufacturing space. The specific division that needs support is the Transit division. The Transit team is one of the largest businesses within our clients organization and delivers an integrated series of components for all types of rail and metro cars, as well as buses. The Corporate Applications team is providing project support to this business unit and needs an additional PM on the team to assist with projects within the Transit business. This PM will be more involved in the early stages of projects. Responsible for getting descriptions of the pending projects and reaching out to all the stakeholders who would be involved to understand the needs. This resource will need to really understand the IT PMO process internally and do overview with the architecture board committees for each project being discussed. It is important that this individual has a strong IT background as they will be interacting with lots of IT stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager

Previously or currently working within the manufacturing industry

- Familiar with manufacturing operations, shop floors, MES, etc.

IT related Degree

Strong communications and ability to speak clear English
