    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking **skilled Aviation Maintenance Technicians** to join our team in partnership with a **leader in the aerospace industry** . This is your opportunity to make a direct impact on **military warfighter readiness** by performing essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) work that ensures aircraft safety, performance, and mission success.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    As an **Aviation Maintenance Technician** , you’ll work hands-on in a fast-paced MRO environment supporting the repair and overhaul of **F18-EF flight controls** and other critical aircraft structures. You’ll ensure precision workmanship and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

    Day-to-day responsibilities include:

    + Performing structural repairs and modifications on strike fighters, commercial derivative aircraft, and flight control components.

    + Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals to execute precise repairs.

    + Drilling and precision measuring within .001–.003 tolerances.

    + Identifying, installing, and removing fasteners such as rivets, hi-locks, bolts, and lock bolts.

    + Applying aircraft finishes, including primer, paint, sealants, and Alodine treatments.

    + Using specialized tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy.

    + Maintaining detailed maintenance documentation and technical logs.

    + Following all safety procedures and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    + **3+ years** of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic (commercial, defense, or trade apprenticeship).

    + **3+ years** of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

    + Proficiency in **precision drilling and measurement** within .003 tolerance.

    + Computer literacy, including **Microsoft Office Suite** . **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with **metallic and composite structures** .

    + Knowledge of **Airworthiness Directives, Technical Directives, and Service Bulletins** .

    + Familiarity with **aircraft jigs, fixtures, and tooling** .

    **Pay Details:** $30.86 per hour
