    + Reporting to the designated team lead, the Credentialed Trainer delivers training for assigned applications in a blended learning environment, including instructor-led classes, practice labs, online demonstrations, one-on-one support, and more. Responsible for logistical elements of training, including class invitations, roster management, and course maintenance in the Learning Management System (LMS). Supports curriculum development by testing and providing feedback on new and updated curriculum and authoring tip sheets and eLearning scripts as directed. Understands the implementation of new Epic functionality and enhancements and emphasizes its appropriate use with end users. The individual in this position may assist in the design of support/training solutions based on Help Desk call trends, provide support and training for the LMS, serve as a resource on effective usage of electronic health record (EHR) applications, and serve as general point of contact for AHS’s Help Desk with respect to questions concerning supported applications.

    + Essential Job Functions:

    + Training Administration: Follows department procedures for course invitations, post-class account activation, and roster management in the Learning Management System.

    + Learning Facilitation: Conducts support visits and sessions and/or facilitates learning for all levels of end users using designated materials, deliverables, and/or blended learning solutions, as appropriate.

    + Presentation Skills: Demonstrates a clear understanding of materials, speaks with clarity and is easy to understand, uses visual aids effectively and manages the class effectively.

    + Job Aid Creation: Creates job aids, scripts, and other training material following departmental style guide and procedures.

     

    Education: A High School Diploma is required. Knowledge of Epic systems preferred.

     

    + Knowledge: Must be familiar with learning and development in a business setting. Working knowledge of adult education and training delivery methods.

    + Skills: Must have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively work with all levels of personnel. Comfortable speaking to audiences ranging from one person to large groups. Able to take challenging concepts and break them down into digestible information for learners. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills by identifying key contributing factors, coordinating the right resources, and ensuring timely and thorough resolution. Proactively escalates issues when needed and follows up to confirm customer satisfaction. Must achieve an Epic Credential within 90 days of hire.

    + Work Experience: Minimum of one (1) year related work experience, preferably in a clinical healthcare, education, or IT-related field.
