Your Responsibilities

As a Accounting/Finance Development Program for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will:

+ Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability.

+ Track budgets and report variances. Monitor and analyze data using established finance systems and protocols

+ Develop personal capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

+ Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education.

+ Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization’s policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards

+ Assist with the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice

+ Support the implementation of financial systems process changes and enhancements.

+ Produce accurate reports by collecting and analyzing data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.

What Skills You Need

+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

+ Mimimum of 6 credit hours in accounting.

+ Knowledge of accounting systems, process and practices.

+ Abiltity to gather and analyze data.

+ Willing to travel and relocate to any John Deere location in the US.

+ Must be willing to relocate domestically. Assignments can be various locations throughout the US.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

+ Graduating with bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics or Related Degrees.
