We are looking for someone with a purchasing/supply chain background and an interest in technology and innovation. This role involves collaborating with IT and Operations stakeholders to deliver solutions that enable the necessary Supply Chain digital capabilities to support our strategic plans. You will manage and optimize current systems while preparing for digital transformation.
This role is based in Dearborn, MI, hybrid mode.
What you'll do...
+ Collaborate with Supply Chain buyers, leadership, and IT stakeholders to develop and implement digital supply chain solutions as part of a comprehensive digital roadmap, including AI projects
+ Manage new and enhanced products: develop and manage execution of project timeline in conjunction with technical teams, define and analyze business user requirements, actively participate in the design of the product, coordinate and conduct user testing, rollout and training.
+ Provide updates on the progress of key initiatives and develop various presentations for leadership and other stakeholders.
+ Partner with various internal and external stakeholders, including IT, Data Analytics, Product Development, Global Business partners, and Suppliers.
+ Leverage advanced data analytic skills to optimize value, enhance quality, improve delivery, and reduce costs across the organization.
+ Stay abreast of trends in AI analytics and integrate these insights into current and future supply chain projects.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.
+ 5-10 years of supply chain management experience, e.g., purchasing/procurement, material planning.
+ Strong business acumen and project management skills to be effective at driving transformations and change management.
+ Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify gaps and propose innovative, fit for purpose solutions.
+ Experience in data analytics and its application for continuous improvement in supply chain or related areas.
+ Passion for digital solutions and desire to become an internal expert on all things AI and analytics to optimize business processes.
+ Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex supply chain requirements into technical solutions and to synthetize impact to business for senior leadership.
+ Strong leadership skills.
+ Strong analytical and presentation skills are key, along with ability to clearly communicate complex scenarios.

+ Skilled in current technologies and trends for supply chain management.

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
