The Principal Specialist, Procurement is a tactical role within Raytheon's Operations & Supply Chain organization, based in Andover, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. The Principal Specialist, Procurement is responsible for executing routine to medium complexity procurements, conducting supplier management and engaging with internal teams and customers to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
_This position is onsite at our Andover, MA location. Relocation assistance is not provided._
What You Will Do:
+ Procurement: Place domestic and international purchase orders for materials, services, and consumables. Ensure compliance to Raytheon policies and procedures. Actions include selecting suppliers, requesting quotes, price analysis, negotiations, purchase order execution and post-award management.
+ Supplier Performance: Manage supplier performance and relationships that are conducive to internal and external customer performance. Bringing issues to a timely & effective resolution in order to support 100% on time delivery at the planned costs.
+ Data & Performance Management: Develop and maintain performance reports on a weekly basis, tracking gate-level performance, material induction, material progression, and customer disposition. Perform root cause analysis on delays, design, and execute corrective actions in close coordination with the program & functional support. Proactively monitor and flag risks to cycle time.
+ Process Optimization: Lead & support continuous improvement efforts every day by leveraging CORE methods and tools.
+ Risk Management: Identify new sources of supply and mitigate risks, working closely with supply chain management to implement strategies that support uninterrupted procurement execution.
+ Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with the subcontracts and procurement teams to ensure priorities are met and align with internal customer requirements.
+ Strategic Project Execution: Execute targeted improvement projects across procurement, depot interface, vendor readiness, and material flow. Support project tracking, milestone management, and results conversion as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a university degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
+ Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with supply chain management tools is a plus.
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements."

+ Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships effectively and resolve issues quickly.
+ Problem-solving: Ability to proactively identify issues and develop solutions
+ Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed, cross-function team members
+ Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
+ Experience creating and delivering presentations to managers, peers, and other stakeholders
+ Strong organization skills to include attention to detail
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Familiarity with Military Specifications
+ Understanding and use of export and import controls, compliance and licensing

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
