    Job Title: Site Logistics Supervisor

     

    Summary:The ideal candidate will be responsible for prioritizing daily material movements to and from buildings B43 and B80 to ensure operational commitments are consistently met. They will ensure full coverage across the MMO team to support production requirements and foster team flexibility through performance development. This role oversees the entire drum supply chain, acting as the primary liaison between site operations and external providers. The candidate will manage equipment and maintenance needs across B43, B45, and B80, collaborating with procurement to oversee leases and anticipate future equipment requirements. Compliance with all EHS standards, including safety training and root cause investigations, is essential. The candidate will also lead a joint continuous improvement initiative with 3PL providers at B43 and B80, reporting progress to leadership. Additionally, they will monitor and address EHS and maintenance concerns related to the tanker fleet in coordination with external vendors.

    Responsibilities Include:

    + The leader will direct team of Material movement operators to meet service, EHS, quality, schedule attainment and productivity goals for the operational area.

    + Will lead daily operations, development, performance, and accountability for enforcement of Momentive Performance Materials code of conduct, production, scheduling, productivity, project implementation and communication with business leadership and employees.

    + Responsible for setting clear expectations for the team.

    + Key accountabilities are service performance, EHS performance, schedule attainment, work force development and productivity, and involvement / impact in areas outside of normal areas of responsibility.

    + Manage the drum supply chain, including supply and demand validation, provider execution, inventory control and optimization

    + Act as person of contact for plant escalations, implement strategies for onsite Tank wagon and trailer management, driving key initiatives resulting in impactful results for Logistics and productions teams.

    + Process all payroll and medical center commitments.

    + Safe work Permit writer, for warehouse’s and site support.

    + Brigade qualified.

    + Completes other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    The following are required for the role

     

    + Bachelor's degree or 8 years of hands on experience in supply chain, logistics, management or related field. Experience in Operations, Warehouse Management, or Logistics is required.

    + Quantitative analytical skills with the ability to identify, interpret, and resolve unstructured problems.

    + Demonstrated leadership skills with a past record of aggressively meeting commitments.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential

    + Working experience in a global business utilizing SAP ERP platform

    + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

    The following are preferred for this position:

    + Certified Six Sigma or CPIM a plus

    + Advanced degree (MBA/MS).

    + Candidate with strong analytical skills with a proven track record of implementing operational solutions.

    + Experience managing a union environment and leading a team through business transformation.

     

    What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $81,000 - $118,800

     

    The actua l salary offered i s determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill set s, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable .
