    Job Description

    Primary Job Function:

    The Finance Senior Manager is responsible for volume forecasts for US Parkinson’s franchise, including Vyalev, Tavapadon and Duopa. The Finance Senior Manager will support the Parkinson’s Finance Associate Director, the commercial VP, and their teams. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining forecasting models, patient flow models and developing scenario planning for the on-market brands, supporting the business for all forecasting topics. This role partners closely with CoE Forecasting, Price Forecasting, Sales & Marketing, Market Access, Global Operations and Demand Planning teams.

    Responsibilities:

    + Align with commercial business partners, market access, and finance leaders on market/patient assumptions, supported by quantitative evidence as well as qualitative insights for all required forecast time periods (LBE, Plan, Long Range Plan). Develop scenario planning.

    + Integrate hypotheses into forecast models, maintain and improve patient flow model to ensure they are calibrated to provide the most precise outputs.

    + Prepare and submit monthly ADS, deliver Min/Max scenario and partner with Global Operations and Demand planning to ensure optimal supply of demand.

    + Partner with Price Forecasting and Market Access to ensure alignment on assumptions used to develop GTN (Gross to Net) rates to derive Net Sales.

    + Using external data sources such as IQVIA, Payer Mix and Wholesaler inventory levels, provide insights to the business on market events, ensuring alignment on components of demand assumptions.

    + Prepare and share weekly and monthly reporting for all components of demand. Support month-end, quarter-end closing by providing an informed view on short term forecasts.

    + Load forecasts into required financial systems (BPC, ADS, etc.) to support consolidation for US NEC, US Tx, Global and Corporate Financial Reviews. Responsible for data accuracy and timeliness of submission.

    + Contribute to the preparation of management review decks, for LBE, Plan, LRP. Prepare concise narrative on key performance drivers.

    + Strategic partner for target functions - provide clear and concise narrative, robust financials and deliverables that can be reviewed with Executive management.

    + Decision Support/Special Projects - provide analyses for ad hoc or other business presentations that lend insight into key business drivers enabling operating management to drive appropriate tactics/strategy to meet the LRP objectives, support quarterly earning preparation, and companywide initiatives.

    + Individual is expected to successfully perform all responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation and autonomy.

    Position Accountability/Scope:

    Responsible for providing financial leadership to the brand team in development of the Plans, LRPs and LBEs. This position reports to the Associate Director. The role is expected to operate independently to accomplish the goals and responsibilities of the position; however constant alignment with the Associate Director is critical due to the nature of the role. In addition, the Senior Manager has a high degree of freedom to independently set priorities so that both planned and unplanned departmental objectives are achieved. This position supports and communicates with all levels of operating and financial management on an on-going basis.

    Qualifications

    + Requires 6-8 years progressive FP&A experience in the pharma industry.

    + Forecasting experience, business acumen, understanding of business dynamics.

    + Ability to influence without direct authority.

    + Ability and desire to proactively search out and evaluate business problems and opportunities.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication skills, able to summarize complex business dynamics into deliverables for executives.

    + Ability to operate independently, lead multiple processes and meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.

    + Advanced technical skills, knowledge of systems such as PowerBI, BPC.

    + Preferred: MBA in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA/CMA.

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or Marketing.

    + Knowledge of the financial planning process.

    + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

    + This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

    Salary: $121,000 - $230,000
