Who we are looking for
Purpose
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Incentive Compensation (IC) Manager to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of sales incentive programs across our AIR and CARE business units. This role is critical in ensuring that IC plans are not only well-designed but also accurately executed, motivating the field force and aligning with business objectives. The IC Manager will maintain and optimize IC platforms such as Zayden and SalesIQ, support existing sales teams, and prepare scalable IC solutions for upcoming product launches. We are looking for a candidate willing to support the hybrid working model from the Cary, NC office.
Main Responsibilities
+ Incentive Compensation Strategy & Execution
+ Design and implement IC plans in collaboration with Sales, Finance, HR, and Business Unit leadership.
+ Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual IC calculations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
+ Maintain IC documentation, governance, and communication materials for both AIR and CARE teams.
+ Support launch readiness by developing and executing IC plans for new products and evolving field roles.
+ IC Platform Management
+ Own the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of IC platforms (e.g., Zayden, SalesIQ).
+ Ensure seamless data integration between CRM, HRIS, and IC systems to support accurate calculations.
+ Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement system improvements.
+ Performance Analytics & Reporting
+ Analyze sales performance and payout data to assess IC plan effectiveness and identify trends.
+ Develop and distribute dashboards and reports to field teams and leadership.
+ Provide insights and recommendations for plan optimization based on data analysis.
+ Field Support & Communication
+ Serve as the primary contact for field force inquiries related to IC plans, performance metrics, and payouts.
+ Deliver training and communications to ensure understanding and adoption of IC programs.
+ Collaborate with Field Leadership to address escalations and ensure alignment with business goals.
+ Launch Readiness & Scalability
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure IC systems and processes are ready to support new product launches.
+ Build scalable IC models that can adapt to changing business needs and organizational growth.
Experience Required
+ Required:
+ 5+ years of experience in incentive compensation, sales operations, or commercial analytics in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
+ Proven experience executing IC plans and managing IC platforms such as Zayden, SalesIQ, or equivalent.
+ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Preferred:
+ Experience supporting multiple business units or therapeutic areas.
+ Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva CRM) and data integration workflows.
+ Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations in pharma IC design and execution.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
